Kayla Burt (KB) is a Data Analyst in the Office of Institutional Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Research Associate with Reflective Educational Research. KB is also a PhD student  at the University at Buffalo (UB) and former co-chair of the Graduate Student Issues Committee for the National Council on Measurement in Education (2025-2026). Her research interests include information retrieval, information-seeking behavior, social networks, and decision-making in higher education.
