I’m honored to share that I’ve been selected for the 2025–2026 ALISE Emerging Scholars Program!
This program, launched by the Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE), supports researchers and early career researchers in information science  as we develop our skills, expand our professional networks, and contribute to the future of LIS education.
Over the coming year, I’ll join a 23-member cohort in a series of interactive seminars on topics such as:
  • Syllabi and policy development
  • The ethical use of AI in teaching and research
  • Collaboration strategies
  • Navigating diverse career pathways
  • Preparing for LIS interviews
  • Grant writing
I’m deeply grateful to ALISE and the program facilitators, Dr. Daniella L. Smith (University of North Texas),  Dr. Laura Saunders (Simmons University), and Dr. Xiaohua Awa Zhu (University of Tennessee), for this opportunity. I look forward to connecting with the other emerging scholars and mentors.
