 I’m thrilled to share that I have been selected as one of the 2026 ASIS&T New Leaders Award recipients, alongside other students and early career professionals from around the world.
Through this award, I’ll have the opportunity to work closely with an ASIS&T Chapter or SIG, connect with a mentor, and attend the Awards Ceremony at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting in #Bangkok, Thailand this fall. As stated in the press release, I’m incredibly grateful to ASIS&T for this opportunity and to the many, MANY communities that have shaped me past and present. I especially want to thank the Graduate School of Education at UB and my home, the city of Buffalo, NY, a place that has taught me so much about hard work, resilience, building community through care and support, and the importance of having a sense of humor!! Congratulations to the other AMAZING 2026 ASIS&T Global Award recipients!
