I’m pleased to share that two of my papers have been accepted for presentation at the Information Seeking in Context Conference (ISIC) in Montreal, Canada.
The first, Educational technology and the everyday information practices that shape student thinking and learning, co-authored with Dr. Damian Bebell, is a descriptive study of over 9,000 teachers within the Apple Distinguished Schools Program. The second is a solo paper, Platforms, Algorithms, and the Shifting Boundaries of Information Horizons. It is a conceptual contribution exploring information-seeking in the age of algorithms, platforms, and generative artificial intelligence. Both papers will be published in Information Research: An international electronic journal.
